What We Do
Instant — or tankless — water heaters heat water the moment you turn the tap, with no storage tank sitting there using electricity to keep water warm you might never use. For a single bathroom apartment, a studio, a guest room or a budget rental, this is usually the most sensible and most affordable hot water option on Bali. We supply and install both electric and gas (LPG) instant units, wall-mount them neatly, wire them on properly protected circuits and connect the water side so there are no drips, no scalding surprises and no callbacks.
Because the units are small and the work is contained, an instant heater install is typically the quickest job we do — often done and tested within an hour or two. If you have just moved in and have no hot water at all, this is frequently the fastest route to a hot shower the same day.
What's Included
- Pressure and supply check — instant heaters need adequate flow to fire reliably, so we test your pressure first and flag if a small booster pump is needed.
- Supply of the unit (optional) — electric or gas, your choice of brand, or we install one you already have.
- Protected electrical circuit — electric instant heaters draw a real load, so we wire them on a correctly rated, dedicated, RCD-protected circuit.
- Safe gas connection and ventilation for LPG models — correct regulator, leak-tested fittings and a properly ventilated location.
- Leak-free plumbing with isolation valve so the unit can be serviced without draining the house.
- Test and demo — we set the temperature, run it through a full cycle and show you how to adjust it.
How We Install It — Step by Step
- 1. Check pressure. Many Bali properties run on gravity-fed rooftop tanks with weak pressure. We confirm the unit will fire reliably before mounting anything.
- 2. Position. The unit goes close to the bathroom it serves to minimise the cold-water lag and keep pipe runs short.
- 3. Connect power or gas. Electric units get a dedicated protected circuit; gas units get a leak-tested LPG connection and proper ventilation.
- 4. Plumb. Cold inlet and hot outlet with an isolation valve, all sealed and checked.
- 5. Set and test. We set a safe temperature, run a full cycle and confirm steady, leak-free operation.
Electric vs Gas Instant Heaters in Bali
Electric instant heaters are the simplest: no gas line, no ventilation worries, low install cost — ideal for apartments and single bathrooms. The trade-off is flow rate, which is fine for one shower but not two at once. Gas (LPG) instant heaters deliver much higher flow and genuinely unlimited hot water, which suits larger bathrooms and homes that run a lot of hot water, but they must be installed with correct ventilation and a properly fitted regulator. We fit both and will tell you honestly which makes sense for your property rather than just selling you the bigger unit.
Pricing
Installation labour starts from IDR 400,000, with the unit and any extra materials quoted separately and upfront. Because the units themselves are inexpensive, an instant heater is often the cheapest way to get reliable hot water into a single bathroom. See full pricing →

Frequently Asked Questions
Is an instant water heater enough for a Bali apartment?
Yes — for a single bathroom an instant electric heater gives you endless hot water with no tank to keep warm. The one limit is simultaneous use: if two showers run at once, pressure and temperature drop, so for multi-bathroom villas we usually recommend a storage or central system instead.
Do instant water heaters need strong water pressure in Bali?
They work best with steady mains or pump pressure. Many Bali properties run on a rooftop tank with low gravity pressure, in which case a small booster pump makes the difference between a trickle and a proper shower. We check your pressure before recommending a unit.
Electric or gas instant heater — which is better in Bali?
Electric instant heaters are simpler, cheaper to install and need no gas line — ideal for apartments. Gas (LPG) instant heaters give higher flow and unlimited hot water but require proper ventilation. We fit both and advise based on your bathroom and budget.
How much does instant water heater installation cost in Bali?
Labour starts from IDR 400,000 for a straightforward wall-mounted install, plus the unit. Units are inexpensive — often the cheapest hot water option upfront. We quote the full cost before starting.
