Canggu is mostly newer-build villas, co-living blocks and rental properties around Berawa, Batu Bolong and Pererenan, which means we get called for two very different jobs here. The first is brand-new villas where the developer fitted the cheapest possible heater and it has already failed — usually an undersized electric unit with no dedicated circuit, tripping the breaker after a few months. The second is busy short-let villas where the hot water simply can't keep up with back-to-back guests. For the first, we re-do the install properly; for the second, we size up the tank or move the property onto a small central system.
Because so many Canggu properties are managed remotely for owners living overseas, we're used to coordinating over WhatsApp with property managers, sending photos before and after, and working around guest check-ins. Traffic around the Canggu shortcut and Batu Bolong can be slow in peak season, so for genuine emergencies we plan our route to reach you quickly — and being based for Bali-wide service, there's never a travel surcharge for Canggu.
